EDGI's recent publications have highlighted how the Trump administration has altered the use of terms related to climate change on federal environmental websites, and how the EPA has failed in its mission to enforce federal environmental laws. Environmental Enforcement Watch's report cards provide, for the first time, an analysis of Environmental Protection Agency data on compliance with, and enforcement of, environmental laws in select congressional districts and states. Promoting Data Resilience We examine models for distributed stewardship of data by working with community members and partner organizations. Monitoring Federal Websites We monitor changes to tens of thousands of federal environmental and climate change web pages to trace how data, information, and their presentation change. Interviewing Federal Experts We interview federal employees to provide a human, qualitative perspective on how the current administration is affecting environmental health agencies. Cultivating Environmental Data Justice We connect research and advocacy on Environmental and Data Justice to theorize, imagine and enact more just human-environmental relationships. Analysts track and classify website changes flagged by our version tracking software.
